Port of Centralia Contributes to
Centralia Downtown Association
Centralia, Wash. — The Port of Centralia Commission approved a $3,000 contribution to the Centralia Downtown Association’s annual holiday decorations program. The Port joins its newest tenant, Logistics Property Company (LPC), who donated $10,000 toward the cause.
The decorations will be on display throughout the downtown Centralia area this holiday season.
The Centralia Downtown Association, a Main Street America 2025 Affiliate and part of the National Main Street movement, partners residents, merchants, and local leaders to beautify and further enrich downtown Centralia. The group works to celebrate the downtown district’s history while revitalizing the area for the community.
Port of Centralia Commissioner Julie Shaffley said, “The holiday decorations are a wonderful tradition that showcase Centralia’s character and charm. These decorations bring joy to residents and visitors alike and reflect the community spirit that makes Centralia such a special place. As we look to a new year, the Port is honored to contribute to this effort while continuing our mission of creating jobs and supporting local families.”
Founded in 1986, the Port of Centralia operates two industrial parks and one planned mixed-use development. The Port’s over 30 tenants include Sierra Pacific Industries, Walmart, UNFI and WinCo Foods.
