CHICK-FIL-A

COMING SOON TO

CENTRALIA STATION

Centralia, Wash. — Chick-fil-A is expected to begin construction on its new Centralia Station location in October.

Construction is expected to take approximately six to nine months, depending on weather conditions. The restaurant will be the first Chick-fil-A location in Lewis County, bringing the popular chicken chain to the local community.

According to Chick-fil-A, its restaurants typically employ approximately 60 full- and part-time team members. The company is the third-largest quick-service restaurant company in the United States, with more than 3,000 restaurants across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

Chick-fil-A emphasizes food quality, customer service and community partnerships as key parts of its restaurant operations.

The new restaurant will be part of Centralia Station, a 26-acre mixed-use development at the Port of Centralia. WinCo Foods, the development’s anchor tenant, opened its doors in 2025.

Port of Centralia Commission President Peter Lahmann said, “We’re excited to see this project moving forward and to welcome Chick-fil-A to Centralia Station. It’s a great addition for our community and another positive step forward.”

Community members interested in following the progress of Centralia Station and receiving future announcements are encouraged to follow the Port of Centralia’s Facebook page.

Founded in 1986, the Port of Centralia operates three industrial and commercial parks supporting a diverse mix of businesses. The Port’s more than 30 tenants include WinCo Foods,
Sierra Pacific Industries, Walmart, UNFI and STIHL Northwest.
