NEW WILCO FARM STORE COMING TO CENTRALIA STATION

Centralia, Wash. — The Port of Centralia Commission approved a purchase and sale agreement with Wilco Farmers for 4 acres in its Centralia Station development for the construction of an agricultural supply retail store. The project is expected to bring 50 new jobs to the community.

Founded in 1967, Wilco Farmers is a farmer- and rancher-owned cooperative with 2,500 members. The Mt. Angel, Oregon, based company has 26 retail stores in Washington, Oregon, and California. The stores feature pet supplies and grooming, workwear, True Value hardware, Benjamin Moore paint, lawn and garden supplies, a nursery-style garden center, and livestock and equine supplies.

Wilco is also a large supporter of Future Farmers of America, raising $250,000 for local FFA chapters and donating $125,000 to junior livestock auctions per year through its FFA Forever program.

Centralia Station is a mixed-use development featuring anchor tenant WinCo Foods, a regional grocery chain that opened its doors in 2024. Other tenants coming to the development are Chipotle and Chick-fil-A, with more announcements expected in the near future.

“The Port is pleased to welcome Wilco Farms to Centralia Station,” said Port of Centralia Commissioner Julie Shaffley. “This project not only brings new jobs and investment to our community, but also strengthens our connection to the region’s agricultural heritage. Wilco’s commitment to supporting farmers, ranchers, and future generations through programs like FFA aligns perfectly with the Port’s mission to foster sustainable economic growth and serve our community.”

The Port of Centralia operates two industrial parks and one planned mixed-use development. The Port’s over 35 tenants include Sierra Pacific Industries, UNFI and WinCo Foods.
